    • The process has started with the building of the master schedule.
    • We will be using the Skyward on the student request as I did get a request from our school board concern with student numbers per section.
    • Future Bell Schedule for review and discussion.  We will just digest this morning.

    We were told by DPI concerning Teachscape and the evaluation process. Nobody is sure how long Teachscape will be here for our evaluation process.  We will be using Google Folders to store your information, complete walk-throughs, and announced evaluations.  The Google Folders have been completed for you.  We will review the documents for discussion.

    • Final Score will be placed in Teachscape
      • Completed by June 30th
    The data process hasn't changed with a SLO and PPG.  You may have a department or individual SLO but will need a SLO each year.  You will be in a non-evaluator or evaluator year.  In the 3-year process, we will need to complete 1 announced evaluation and 5-walkthroughs.

    Pre-meeting and evaluation will be sent to you by next week for evaluation year.  Post meeting will be set-up after the evaluation is completed.

    What do you feel is a good timeline to have your SLO and PPG completed?

    Mid-year Review- Evaluator Year will be completed on Monday, January 18th unless you're using a block course as part of your evaluation for your SLO.

    Announcements:


    Seniors:
    • Finish AP Testing this week with all the students
    • Monday, May 18th  Senior Trip to Madison-  Senior List of participants will follow at the end of the week.  
      • If seniors don't attend, they're expected to be at school on Monday, May 18th.  If the seniors are over 10 days, a medical note must follow for their absence of school.
    • Tuesday, May 19th  Senior Finals- all the Senior Finals will be given on Tuesday.  We will follow a regular school schedule for the senior finals.
    • Any seniors needed to turn in any school items.  Please send the list of items to Jan Ostrander.  ASAP
    • Senior Failures are due on Wednesday, May 20th @ 8:00 am  Please send e-mail to Andy Banasik for any senior failures.
    • Wednesday, May 20th  Class/Graduation Practice will begin at 8:45.  Please wait for an announcement for the underclassman.  The Class Night/Graduation practice will take about 2-hours.  The underclassman will be with us for about 30 minutes.
    • Wednesday, May 20th  Class Night will at 7:00 PM in the high school gymnasium
    • Thursday, May 21st- We will have seniors in school for tardiness that took place the last month as they were under contract.
    • Sunday, May 24th- High School Graduation @ 2:00 and hopefully sending them off to their next life adventure.

    9th-11th Students
    • 10th Graders will be AP Gov't Testing- They will have open campus lunch and expected to return around 1:00.  We will confirm this with an e-mail announcement around 12:00 on Tuesday.
    • Finish AP Testing- 9th Grade will be testing on Friday, May 15th.  We will follow the same format for open campus as we did with the 10th graders on Tuesday, May 12th.
    • Monday, May 18th  Pops Concert
    • Wednesday, June 3rd Underclassman Finals...schedule to follow by e-mail.
    • Thursday, June 4th Underclassman Finals....schedule to follow by e-mail.
    • Thursday, June 4th will be last day for students.  I think we can honestly say "No more snow days!

    • Monday, June 8th Summer School begins with Driver's Education Classes.

    School News:

    • Art Room, kitchen, and upstairs bathroom projects will begin with the bathroom demolition starting on Tuesday, May 26th  The upstairs bathroom will be out of commission starting on Tuesday, May 26th.   There could be some noise taking place from the demolition.  If so, we may need to displace some classrooms which are located right next to the up-stairs bathrooms. (Hannah's and Krista's room) 
      • Art Room construction date is Friday, June 5th
      • Kitchen construction date is Monday, June 15th
      • Remember, these projects must be complete by June 30th so this is why some projects are taking place during our school day.
    • A Huge "Thanks" goes to the Student Council and Advisors Heather DeBruin and Paula Shedivy on the Awards Day.  Thanks!!!
    • Spring Play- Great Work with a short time amount of days to get ready for the play.   Great Job Phil.
    • Great Work by all junior advisors with the Junior Prom at the Dousman House and Post Prom at the PDC HS.
    • Skills USA, Solo Ensemble, and State Forensics put in tremendous work this Spring.
    • Spring Sports Good Luck in the WIAA Tournament
    • Great work by staff who completed extra study sessions during the week.  Really great to see Friday nights used for study sessions.  Jennifer and I really appreciate the extra time and effort given to students who are willing go the extra mile trying to score well on the AP Test.  Thanks for your passion in education and students!!
    • Really, many great things happening with our students and staff for the last month.  Jennifer and I really appreciate your work with students/parents.

    2.  School Finances- Governor's Budget

    • $150.00 pupil cut- $180,000.00 cut (Based on 1,200 students)
    • No pay new money for two years- 8% or less
    3.  Homeroom Discussion
    • 15-16 School year
    • Twice a week @ 20 minutes....end of the day.
    4.   Scheduling
    • Any students not listed or need changes, please let us know.  We did have a Integrated Math Class, Tiers, and a deduction in all of our technology educations courses and students dropping to a point where entire sections being lost.  So you can see there wa a huge domino effect.
    5.  School Board Meeting Review:  Monday, February 9th

    • Administrators Evaluations:  Thanks to everybody who did give input for our evaluations.
    • Otherwise, a pretty low key school board meeting.

    6.  Youth Options/Work Experience
    • Record number of students for next year.  CNA and other coursework and post-secondary education as we need to market our junior/senior courses.
